Gaukar

Gaukar or cuckoos is a play by Huldar Breiðfjörð perfformed at the Reykjavík City Theatre, a heartfelt tragic comedy about two guys and a parrot. The music was inspired in part by music from Congo (I’m a big fan of Konon No.1) and the idea of Exotica in Western Culture. It features percussion performances by Samuli Kosminen.
